Helpshift allows your end-users to access issues faster by adding the Issue Id to the subject line of an email.
You can add the Issue Id for,
- Email Issues
- Webform Issues
- Manual Issues
To add the Issue Id for the number of Email or Web Issues submitted by an end-user,
- Navigate to Settings > Support Settings > Email Support or Settings > Support Settings > Web Support Portal respectively, and enable the ‘Show Issue Id in Subject line’ by turning the toggle on.
- Once the toggle is turned on, the Issue Id becomes a part of the subject for every email sent to the customer. Also, If you hover over the corresponding help icon, the tooltip displays the ‘ Make Issue ID as a part of the subject for every email sent to the customer’ text.
Note: By default, the ‘Show Issue Id in Subject line’ toggle is set to on. You can choose to disable this setting by turning off the toggle. With this change, the Issue Id will not be added to the Subject line of an email that the end-user is receiving.
Web Support Portal:
