Your Helpshift subscription package must include custom bots before you can use them.   
As of calendar year 2021:  
- Custom bots are available in two Helpshift subscription packages: Growth and Enterprise.
- For the Starter package only two Custom Bots can be published
- To upgrade from the Starter package, contact success@helpshift.com.
NOTE  
- In-app support for custom bots depends upon conversational issue filing. Conversational issue filing is available only with:  - SDK X
 
- SDK v7.0.1 or later
 
- Web chat support for custom bots depends upon integration of our web chat widget into your website.
