You can configure any app to display a specific intent menu during chat sessions with end-users who request support.
An intent menu can operate in two ways, depending on whether your Natural Language Processing (NLP) engine has enough training samples to identify the end-user's intent accurately.
When NLP is well-trained:
- The engine can accurately understand the end-user’s intent from their first message.
- Based on this understanding, Smart Intents automatically triggers the most relevant automation.
When NLP is not well-trained:
- The engine cannot accurately determine the user’s intent from their message.
- In this case, the full intent menu is shown to the end-user.
- The system waits for the user to select an option from the intent menu manually.
