Notification channels allow app developers to group different types of app notifications that their apps typically send to users into “channels”. This gives the end user the ability to modify settings for the entire channel at once, including blocking all notifications or marking notifications from the channel as ‘important’ or ‘not important’.
Helpshift’s SDK version 6.2.0+ supports Android O Notification channels.
How does Helpshift SDK support Notification channels?
All Helpshift notifications would be assigned to a new default channel named “In-app Support”. You can choose to customize the name or description of this default channel. In case you need more customizations or want to assign Helpshift support or campaigns notifications to custom notification channels, you will be able to do so.
