Multiple inputs in a bot step (Form style) will work on SDK X and web chat. To support users on lower SDK versions, the admin can create optional fallback steps from the “Step not shown” node as shown in the screenshot below.

For e.g. creating an alternate flow with the single input at a time steps from the user.

The default system behaviour will take over if the admin does not create the optional fallback step. The default system behaviour is to end the conversation with the bot and assign the issue back to the default queue. Preview will show the bot flow for the latest SDK (SDK X) and web chat-supported features, which means the preview flow will be the one with the form step in bot and not the 'Step not shown'.
