Your Helpshift subscription package must include custom bots before you can use them.   

As of calendar year 2021:  
  • Custom bots are available in two Helpshift subscription packages: Growth and Enterprise.   
  • Custom bots are not included in the Starter package.   
  • To upgrade from the Starter package, contact success@helpshift.com.  

NOTE  
  • In-app support for custom bots depends upon conversational issue filing. Conversational issue filing is available only with:  
    • SDK X  
    • SDK v7.0.1 or later  
  • Web chat support for custom bots depends upon integration of our web chat widget into your website.
