The Advanced Search Filter allows operators to filter issues based on user identities, such as GUID (Global User ID) and other_user_id (other user ID types like email ID/Discord ID, etc.). Filters can be saved for quick access in future searches.
Using Advanced Search Filters
To use advanced search filters in the agent dashboard, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Search on the Helpshift dashboard.
- Search the following user fields: GUID , other_user_id (e.g., email).
For example, to search by email, use other_user_id. Use the is operator and enter email. Press Enter to display all issues related to that email ID.
You can also use AND/OR operators to filter multiple user IDs simultaneously.
NOTE: The search field supports a maximum of 100 user ID values. - After applying a search filter, click on My Filters (
) to save it.
- In the Save current search as field, enter a title for your filter.
- Click SAVE.
NOTE: You cannot cross-filter user fields with issue fields; issue fields will not be clickable when combined with user fields.
Search filters can also be accessed across different views such as Smart Views in the Agent Dashboard.
