You can configure a custom or feedback bot to update issue fields (Tags and Custom Issue Fields) and add private notes anywhere in the bot workflow using the “Update Issues” step. 

Common use cases include:

  • To offer tailor-made journeys for the end-users, admins can update Tags, CIFs, or Private Notes based on specific flows in bots, then branch out and define flows from the updated tags and CIFs within the same bot.

  • Operators can keep track of issues abandoned by the end-user by updating Tags, CIFs, or Private Notes as checkpoints in their bot workflow.


Note:

  • Once the step is added and the bot is published, issue actions under the Update Issues step can be edited.

  • For the step to be valid, the step must have at least one issue action.
