Registered participants of an early access program (post-beta but pre-release) can set up two-way messaging between one Helpshift instance and any number of Discord™ servers.

This early access program begins Jan. 12, 2021 and is scheduled to continue for approximately 6 months, until roughly Jul. 31, 2021. We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to this early access program at our sole discretion.

After the required setup is complete, the registered users of a Helpshift-integrated Discord server can begin exchanging messages easily with customer service agents and Helpshift chat bots — all from the familiar Discord user experience for messaging.

  • Human users of a Helpshift-integrated Discord server can create a Helpshift issue by sending a private message to the properly configured Discord Bot or tagging it in any channel.
  • To limit spam, no other bot can create Helpshift issues through your Discord Bot.

Configuring this service involves completing several cross-dependent procedures and includes collaboration with Helpshift engineering.
